A pair of brilliant Grey original Herman Miller Eames EA337 'ribbed', aluminium, high back executive Office Chairs, on a height adjustable, 5-star, castor base. This version is made from brand new grey leather, as opposed to the original Naugahyde upholstery, giving it a more modernised style and aubergine colour arms.

The Aluminium range from the Eames Office was a truly impactful design. Versions of the chairs are still used in many offices across the globe and the lounge-style chair proves to be just as popular. This version is considered as a 'management chair', and Ray and Charles wanted the chair to be a statement piece used by the executive whilst simultaneously preventing it from being imposing and creating it to be an inviting, yet prestigious, item; much like its user.

Individual Characteristics

There are no major marks or rips on the leather as it is brand new, and the universal 5-star base is still functioning perfectly. The arms and bases are in a generally good used condition, with its aubergine colour intact. The manual height and tilt adjustability functions still work perfectly.

The label on the underside indicates this is a post-2010 production chair.

Investment Details

The aluminium range has always retained a good value, mainly helped by their original, high, starting price. Combined with an incredible price for both chairs, this pair would be a very good investment!
