There is great and then there is exceptional and this original Herman Miller Eames black leather on gorgeous rosewood lounge chair and ottoman is exceptional! An outright classic, this is the lounge chair set to relax in style and comfort and with the incredible wood finish and soft leather, it really does do both well!

Nothing else quite compares. The elegant finish of the wood wrapping around the soft, comfortable leather truly brings to life the image Charles had when designing this lounge set. It is easy to see why these have remained so popular since their introduction in 1956 and this era of rosewood really brings the character of this chair set out.

Individual Characteristics

The chair and ottoman set is in excellent vintage, used condition. The leather is gently used, but does not display any cracks or tears whilst the wood is in excellent aged condition with only very little signs of use on it.

The black label on the underside confirms this is a Herman Miller chair set that was produced between 1970 and 1984.

Investment Value

One of the easiest products to determine in terms of investment value; this top of the range item tends to hold its value no matter the age or leather and wood combination. Naturally, age and condition are more determining factors when it comes to collectability and being the traditional rosewood and black leather you could not look for anything more desirable. This set will prove to be a good investment piece to own and enjoy.
