Original Eames fiberglass shells used shockmounts secured with either UNC (Unified National Coarse) or UNF (Unified National Fine) thread bolts depending on the production run. This listing is for the UNC thread variant only. If you are unsure which thread type your chairs require, please see our guide before ordering.
Important: These bolts are compatible with Herman Miller tops only. Vitra tops use metric thread fittings and are not compatible with UNC bolts.

Compatibility & Thread Type
Eames fiberglass shells were produced with either UNC or UNF thread shockmounts — the two are not interchangeable. If you are unsure which type your chairs have, please refer to our article on identifying UNF vs UNC shockmounts before purchasing. Not compatible with Vitra tops, which use metric thread fittings.
