White Artifort Original Kho Liang Le 825 Flower Coffee Table
A very rare original, vintage, Kho Liang Le 825 four leaf flower coffee table for Artifort is in a good vintage used condition with all original parts present. This iconic table by Kho was only produced for a limited time period which makes it extra special and the original white finish only shows light signs of age.
Kho become mostly famed for the work he conducted re-designing Schiphol airport in Amsterdam, but much like many other iconic designers of the era, his design prowess was not just limited to that, he designed numerous furniture and homeware pieces for Artifort consisting of sofas and tables as well as many other things such as wall tiles and lights.
The 825 flower, or cloud as it is known by some, table was one of two that were originally produced; the 825 a four leaf variant and the 826 a 6 leaf variant (making the table look more cloud like in its design). Both versions of the table were only produced for a very short period of a couple of years and were also made available in a gorgeous black colour too.
The table is fully original. The white finished top does have 1 small slightly deeper scratch in it and there are some general surface scratches visible, but overall, is in a good vintage condition.
The metal base does display signs of age, but a gentle clean will help ease its appearance.
The table measures: 119.50cm across and 37.50cm high.
Kho Laing Le’s work is very highly celebrated and some of his pieces are still being produced by Artifort today. His prowess has meant that many of the vintage versions of his designs are highly sought after and are proving to be good investment pieces. The 825 and 826 coffee tables are rare examples due to their limited run and thus are very good investment pieces to invest into.
