The original Eames office chair for Herman Miller. These lovely dark grey original EA335 office chairs are excellent examples of the classic, timeless design. In very good, lightly used condition, these chairs are the perfect pieces to help you along with that challenging project or with working through those reports.

It seems almost normal, now, but before the Eames office chair the work environment was a bit, samey. The introduction of this iconic piece revolutionised the environment, but, it was originally intended to be used as an outdoor chair; being offered in a mesh finish in place of the leather! It was only through a minor re-focussing of where the chair would work best that it found its way into the workplace! 

Individual Characteristics

As used, newer, versions of this beautiful design, they are in very good condition. The arms and base do show some signs of use but it is nothing more than is to be expected with a pair of fifteen year old chairs!

Investment Details

The aluminium range have always retained a good value, mainly helped by their original, high, starting price. These particular examples are in good condition which should help maintain that steady increase.
