The wonderful colour on this light grey original Eames Herman Miller ‘EA335’ ribbed office desk chair makes this stylish, staple, chair feel even more modern. The addition of more colours further enhanced the versatility of these chairs. Having them in either bright or sleeker colours means they can be used anywhere!

Originally designed as an outdoor chair, it was soon realised the Aluminium group would function better in a more professional sphere. The ‘slung’ leather strung between the aluminium frame ensured the chair remained relatively light whilst providing unequalled comfort. Including the swivel, height adjustability and tilt functionality on the chair along with rolling castors made this the premium option, which was very much sought after.

Individual Characteristics

As a used, newer, version of this beautiful design, it is in a very good condition. The arms and base do show some signs of its use but it is nothing more than is to be expected with a sixteen year old chair!

The label on the underside indicates this is an original Herman Miller example and, with the date label present, it proves it was produced in 2009.

Investment Details

The aluminium range have always retained a good value, mainly helped by their original, high, starting price. This particular example is in good condition which should help maintain that steady increase.
