A true design classic. This is an amazing example of a vintage Arne Jacobsen Swan lounge chair for Fritz Hansen finished in sumptuous, original, white leather. Evoking the design feel of the era, the curvaceous and light style of the chair is perfect and due to it being so compact, it will fit in nearly any space!

First introduced in 1958, the Swan chair was introduced alongside its bigger brother, the Egg chair. The stylish finish featuring the 360 degree swivel capability made it an instant hit. Offered in either leather or fabric, the wide range of colours meant that it really could suit any area be it formal or relaxed.

Individual Characteristics

This is a very good example of a used vintage chair which shows little signs of its age and use. The leather is perfectly supple and displays no signs of cracking or wearing.

The original label can still be found on the stem of the base and dates the chair as being from 1976.
