The original Herman Miller Eames office chair. This lovely light grey original EA335 office chair is an excellent example of the classic and timeless design. In very good, lightly used condition, this chair is the perfect piece to help you along with that challenging project or with working through those reports.

It seems almost normal, now, but before the Eames office chair the work environment was a bit, samey. The introduction of this iconic piece revolutionised the environment, but it was originally intended to be used as an outdoor chair; being offered in a mesh finish in place of the leather! It was only through a minor re-focussing of where the chair would work best that it found its way into the workplace! 

Individual Characteristics

As a used, newer, version of this beautiful design, it is in a very good condition. The arms and base do show some signs of its use as you would expect, but the overall condition is good for a chair that is used for working in!

The aluminium range have always retained a good value, mainly helped by their original, high, starting price. The introduction of a variety of colours has helped keep them relevant in the modern era and this great example is no exception. With this, it should prove to be a reasonable investment piece.
