The Herman Miller Eames EA335 has been a staple of the office scene since its introduction in 1958 and it is easy to see why with this original navy example. The addition of a wider variety of colours, such as navy, meant the chairs worked perfectly with the increased interest in and use of corporate colours in offices.

The impact this design made has been decades felt. Since its introduction, in one variant or another, this chair has remained a constant seller and has been well received all the way from huge corporate offices down to simple home offices defining the versatility that it offers. 
 
Individual Characteristics

The leather is in a very good, gently used condition. The colour is still very strong and the only signs of marks are on the corners; which is the usual place for these to experience this.

The black label on the underside indicates this chair was produced between 1970 and 1984 by Herman Miller.

Investment Details

The Eames Aluminium group is, as said above, a very well-known design piece and this has helped to create interest in them as collector’s pieces. Naturally, very good vintage examples see the highest amount of interest; but as a great example of a newer variant, this will still prove to be a good investment piece to own.
